Welcome to traceit4u.com

INTRODUCTION

The traceit4u.com concept was born out of the knowledge that only a fraction of identifiable property recovered by the police forces around the country is reunited with its lawful owner. Police Forces rarely recover and return objects that have not been photographed and adequately described. Forces have custody of large numbers of objects that have been recovered in the course of their enquiries but which cannot be returned to their rightful owners because there is no documentation that would identify the victims.

The police forces of the United Kingdom have, up until now, used a number of local and national publications in an effort to return the property they have recovered to its rightful owner. However, the criminal knows no boundaries and property stolen from one part of the country could well be lodged in a police station store some distance away with the two forces having no knowledge of each others possible interest in that item.

traceit4u.com is a National Pictorial Database website for the Police to place onto it their identifiable stolen/recovered property held in police stores to be viewed by the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The site is also able to accept the submission of photographic images and or descriptions from you the public for the police to view.

Having logged onto our site indicates that you may have become the latest victim of a crime and the traceit4u.com management team hope you will be successful in tracing your stolen property.

Please remember that our police forces are regularly recovering property, a lot of which may have only just come to light but may have been stolen several months or even years ago. Also our site is not only being viewed by the victim and the police, but can reach a wider national and international audience who may have some information about your property.

traceit4u.com can also be viewed by law enforcement agencies such as Customs & Excise at ports and airports around the country as well as antique dealers, insurance companies and loss adjusters as they may also find the information we hold of use to them in a professional capacity.
